Bonnet / Hood opening at 100mph+

Afternoon all,
Heading back to the office today after a meeting, and I gave the S a good launch from the toll booths. I hit about 100mph when the bonnet popped open onto the latch. (As if the bonnet lever had been pulled)
I slowed down immediately and secured the bonnet at the next safe location. The latch fortunately did its job and stopped the bonnet from opening completely. (Which would have been messy)
Is this a known problem at all? I'll inspect the mechanism later today, but this is the first time this has happened on a car I own. Am pretty sure it was securely closed this morning.
Thanks

your front latch may need adjusting upwards to make a tighter contact. Have you added a front strut bar recently ?, they can tend to make the hood harder to close. There are no known issues with the latch itself but the hood and latch can use adjustments from time to time. The rubber isolators on the hood contact points (4 of them)may also need adjusting lower, check them out first.
