Bolts WAY TOO TIGHT!
Hey guys, have the car up on ramps and a jack. Been trying to get the bolts screwed off the beam that restricts me from pulling the exhaust off. Using a 3/8 ratchet on the 10mm and 14mm bolts and they just don't want to seem to budge. I put WD-40 on the bolts, but they still aren't budging. Do I need to upgrade to 1/2 to take these off. Thanks for any responses.

Go to home depot or lowes and pick up some PB Blaster. Spray it on the bolts, let it sit for 15 minutes. Use a heavy hammer to hit the ratchet and hopefully they will loosen up, try not to strip them!

3/8 ratchet might be a bit too short, longer bar definitely helps.

use sudden snaps, not steady pressure, to break them lose.

you can use your 3/8 drive.
I usually grab the rubber mallet or a dead shot hammer and hit the end of the ratched.
Fast shot get them loose, steady pressure torque like a big pipe usually are prone to strip the bolts instead of loosing em.
