Default Bogs, pings and blows smoke

I own a 2002 S, I just swapped out my motor. The problem I'm having is that there is a serious lack of power throughout the rpm band. Once the motor warms up things get worse, the motor will ping and then blow white smoke when I accelerate. I changed out the map sensor and fuel injectors...still the same issues. There are no engine codes! What could cause this???? I wondering if a coolant sensor would cause this???

white smoke when I accelerate
If you are indeed blowing WHITE smoke, this is a classic example of coolant getting into the combustion chamber. How's your coolant level from day to day? You may have gotten a bum motor. Maybe bad head gasket or cracked block or head.

coolant level is good. The motor came out of wrecked s2000 that had only 27000 miles on it. The motor idles perfectly and will only blow smoke after it has warmed up.

It is very possible that the head has a crack from the accident. Where was the car hit? An explanation could be that the head expands when its hot, enough so that the coolant is seeping into your chambers ;\ this has happened to my MR2 before... I found out when I pulled the head...

You didn't swap the Evap purge hose with the coolant hose on the intake manifold did you?
