Default blue / white-ish smoke upon take off

hi there, i know this topic has been covered many times and know what could be the causes. but i'm just trying to see if somebody can offer something new. Basically my 03 AP1 w/ 161000 miles smokes blue-ish/white-ish upon take off. For example I take off a lil faster than usuall from first gear, no launching. I have noticed and observed two other AP1's that did this. Again it only happens upon take off. Worn pistons? valve stem seals? rings?

BTW the only mod I have is a test pipe.

Like I said to you in PM....with how many owners your car has had, I wouldn't be surprised if it's your oil control rings on the pistons allowing blow-by. I highly doubt the VSS's are bad, considering those usually only leak after valves have been pulled out. That's why it's a good idea anytime you do valve jobs to just replace the VSS's as well.

Check the sparkplug -- oily?
How about leak down test?
If you hear air coming out of the tailpipe, it indicates a leaky exhaust valve. Air coming out of the throttle body or carburetor would point to a leaky intake valve. Air coming out of the breather vent or PCV valve fitting would tell you the rings and/or cylinders are worn.
