only problem with doing that.. and trying to screw the dealership you go to might come back to you when you need something done from them.. unless there are any other dealerships you could go to..

Mine went out this summer with about 50K on the clock and the dealer replaced both of them under my extended warranty. They said they only last about 50K.......get it done now, it's free.

shocks usually last IMO at least 100k
