Where is the firewall bleed valve? I am on ITBs and didn't hook up the bleed valve. Or is there a separate way to bleed the system?

It's in the middle of the aluminum pipe on top of the firewall, it's just a rubber cap with a hose clamp.
Don't really recommend messing much with that though, maybe open it once and to let the coolant spill out.
You got a bleed valve in front of your ITB manifold, never tried opening it?

I never plugged it up to the hose. Hindsight 20/20 I wish I did and I might later. Did a compression test:
1- 200
2- 220
3- 200
4- 190

Your bleed valve has the exact same function as stock, just open it to let the air out.

If your head gasket is indeed blown it might not matter much now though.
I don't have any experience what your next move should be but hopefully someone else has.

I thought I had to hook up the coolant hose to the ITBs from when the intake manifold was removed?

I am wondering if the heat was also causing the backfire in cylinder 4.

Going to trailer the car to DBW motorsports tomorrow in Atlanta. My schedule to get out of here just adds to the stress. I am hoping it is just the head gasket, but prepared for worse. Car never revved past 4000 since start up tuning began, so that keeps me hoping. Tonight will be such fun loading a non running car onto an auto transport without a winch.

I recommend putting a hose on the air valve. To prevent hot coolant shooting out in your face. Don't ask me how i know
