blown axle?
My problem started out with a bad rear wheel bearing. (play in the wheel when checked off the ground) I took off the spindle ordered a new honda bearing and had it pressed in at a local shop. I also installed a new hub.
At that time when i had everything apart i also swapped the CV joints, installed adjustable toe arms, diff spacers, Hasport diff mounts and coilovers. (My diff was fine before i replaced all these parts)
I took the car out for a drive after all parts were installed and there is this horrible banging coming from the rear end. I drove the car back in the garage, took off the wheels and made sure everything was tightened. I put the wheels back on and inspected the play on the side i replaced the wheel bearing. There is no play side to side. There is a slight amount of play top to bottom.
Then i drained the diff fluid to look for metal shavings, there were none.
The sound is coming from the side where i replaced the wheel bearing. Could the bearing have been pressed in wrong? Does the outer CV joints go bad ever?
I took a video of it while i was out driving it for the first time.

Is the play top to bottom coming from the wheel bearing or the ball joints?
With the wheel in the air. Have a friend shake the wheel and watch for.movement at the ballpoints.
If its coming from the bearing it sounds like they installed it incorrectly

Reman axle since it no longer fit tight around the splines it just ate them lol.
You get a lifetime warranty with them I've traded 6 sets of axles in now with the turbo civic no questions asked lmao.
At first I thought it was the diff got a ap2 diff for a STEAL at 250 bucks but didn't fix it. Checked the axles and that's what I found.
