i got 10 new OEM Honda valves, my head was machined/resurfaced, new headgasket, new exhaust manifold gasket, new intake manifold gasket, and a new valve cover gasket for $988 including parts AND labor by my mechanic.

$2,200 for just valves is ridiculous

kaan, if it is just the head, i say wait before getting it fixes. you might be able to find a used ported head for cheap (like $1500) and then just put it on there.

basic wrenches and swivels
and a few questions
Thats all it takes. Trust me I'm in the middle of it now.
If at any point he feels that he can't deal with it or gives up he can then have it towed anywhere he wants.
