Awesome how the front bumper had to come off to get it on the tow bed. A lot of people misshift to 2nd instead of 4th, don't feel too bad.

Sure as hell he isn't feeling good, though.

Yes, it's occasionally done. But it's not like this is an unavoidable random event. Take your time when you shift. Don't dawdle, but don't rush things either. Shifting too quickly does not make the car go any faster, and it can have results like this.

shouldn't you be able to downshift to 2nd when you're going 60? (not that I ever do)

he was going past another driver going 60. so actually, it must have been quite faster than 60 mph in order to get around another a driver.. sucks about what happened tho Kaan. luckily Rich and them showed up and helped you out. hope you get the car back soon and the engine damage won't be too bad.
