Blowby gases...HELP!

Default Blowby gases...HELP!

So i don't know if this is normal or not on the s2k. But when i open the oil fill cap while the car is running i get huge amounts of blow by gases coming out. is this how the pcv system works? or is something wrong with my car? thanks in advanced.

??? why would would open the oil cap when the engine is running?

I just tried it and I don't get a lot of blowby gases on mine.

i used this method to check if my piston rings were okay on my STi lol.. its a bit strange i know.
