block your throttle body coolant

Just out of curiousity, does the coolant going to the TB have anything to do with an EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system? When I had my mustang, there was an EGR spacer next to the TB which introduced some exhaust gas into the intake stream, the purpose being to reduce NOx. The EGR spacer had a coolant jacket to help reduce the temperature of the EGR spacer.

Guys,
I have had this mod for a while now.
I do a lot of short runs in the S.
Since I live only about 3-4 miles away from work
Since I did this mod i havent noticed any improvement
in performance but i have noticed a slight increase
in MPG.
I think this might be because the inlet manifold is still
just warm when i get to work. Where as before it was
hot in seconds...
Barry.

Just a quick question..Im here in south florida and experience the heat bog quite frequently. For our winter days, which the temp in the coldest days gets in the mid 50's to 60's, should I take off the balls.
Thank you
Thank you

You may want to remove your balls. Much like a cat in the winter, you will have undesirable performance...unless you remove the balls.
