Could it possibly be a voltage supply issue then? At idle your RPM is at its lowest, so if your alternator is dying, too low voltage supplied could cause who knows what with the ECU and everything it operates. Maybe worth checking, but just a shot in the dark.

I had the same thing for a while, turned out to be all four coil pack bad. Durring what RPM /throttle load does the misfire happen?

happens at idle only. Im thinking it could be the injectors or bent valves.

I have the same CEL issues as you, and have not figured out what is causing the problem. My engine runs fine, but the CEL usually comes on during idle.

So far I have changed spark plugs, new injectors (expensive mistake because it didn't fix the problem), new pcv valve, cleaned the IAC valve, and tried multiple MAP whacks with tiedowns. After all this, the CEL still comes on after a ECU reset.

You mentioned that the CEL comes on during idle, so you should try to clean out the IAC valve. I read a thread in UTH about a person getting the same CEL code, and it stopped after cleaning the IAC valve. The IAC can get stuck because of all the carbon deposits, and throw the random misfire codes.

Check the DYI link for instructions on cleaning the IAC.

You can check the IAC by removing the intake 90 degree section, plugging the two idle ports inside the throttle body. If the car dies the IAC is bad, if it doesn't its working.
