It'll void your tire air warranty.

Don't forget to use genuine Honda air for your tires.
The JDM air gives 10 rwhp compared to the lousy USDM air they sell us over here. And God only knows what sort of air they provide for the Canadian market!

The manual doesn't like DOT4 fluid for some reason. Says to use it only as a "temporary replacement" and DOT5 is absolutely unsupported.

IMO, the only reason to use DOT4 in your clutch is because you happen to have it available. If you flush your brakes every few months, and if you flush your clutch at the same time, you might as well use the same fluid for both rather than opening up another bottle.

But if you (like me) flush your clutch a lot less often than you do your brakes, you should put DOT3 in the clutch. Old (ie. more than a year old) DOT3 fluid protects against corrosion better than old DOT4 fluid.

Everyone keeps saying DOT this and that, but no products....

The best clutch fluid you can buy IMHO....

ATE Superblue.

ATE SuperBlue is DOT4.

It is WAY overkill in terms of heat resistance, and will absorb more water and will need to be changed out more often than any DOT3 fluid.

ATE Superblue is a GREAT brake fluid for a track car, but not a very good clutch fluid.

Hmm..Ive been running mine for about a year now (10000 miles)...still blue, and the clutch is like butter.

Don't run it for much longer than that. As the water content increases, you won't feel any difference., but the corrosion will be occuring. If you run DOT4 fluid in the clutch, I recommend flushing it at least every year. If you run DOT3 fluid, every two years should be safe.
