Blackstone UOA on stock '05 AP2 w/65k miles
Another data point on how stock '05 AP2s age:
Blackstone performed a UOA on my stock '05 AP2. Oil was Mobil 1 10w30 with 4,900 miles and two track days (one in >100F heat). It was interesting to note that, though the TBN was fine, viscosity was a bit low from track use. I think I'll move to a different oil to have more confidence in 5k oil changes after a couple track days. All else in this UOA seems good, let me know if you see anything notable.
From a couple of my ealier posts, I've also included a dyno from last month and my compression test results of 250#/240#/255#/#247.
I'm happy with how it's holding up.

Not bad at all
Thanks for posting.
Only dropped to 9,48 cSt. after the milage, still a 30 weight.
Pretty good I'd say.
5 ppm of iron "extra" including 2 track days, that's nothing.
I don't know what you're paying for the Mobil1 but I guess you will not find any oil doing much much better for roughly the same price.
(Not saying there aren't any better oils around)
