black exhaust smoke...huge oil consumption
ever since I got my car a year ago.. I have been adding, the most, 3 quarts of oil after 1000 miles after an oil change. Recently my mechanic told me that when he started the car.. black smoke came out the exhaust and believe that i might have a valve leak in the engine..help!

That's excessive oil consumption.
It may be rings or possibly valve guides. Hopefully, it is valve guides since those are easier to do.
Does your mechanic have a lot of s2k experience? If not, post up in your regional s2ki forum and ask for a recommendation of a reputable shop near you.

where can't diagnose it over the net
well, bring it to another shop in the region to get a second opinion.
is there any other sign of failure beside start up smoke?
is the motor down on power? fouling plugs?
compression and leak down test is a good starting point but it's likely that it will need an overhaul soon if you are using that much juice
