Your Richmond 4.56 should whine a little less than the 4.57 but, it still can be loud at times. They made the 4.56 as a improvement over the original 4.57 to cut down on some of the gear whine. Sometimes the gear whine is bad and sometimes it's because of an improper install. I can look over the install for you and if I can improve it for you I will, no charge
Your only cost would be shipping, and needed seals and hardware.
