Which is better dual or single exhaust systems?

CoralDoc, i hope you didnt take any of my comments in and for of negative fashion. I know you know your sh!t.
I def know though that our own UL has documented many exhausts with many different outcomes. As mentioned, some made a few ponies, some a bit more, and some actually lost power (HKS). Also, keep in mind that he is also a professor so you can rest assured that he did use a scientific approach when testing the various systems. He also uses a dynapack dyno which already by design minimizes external variables.
Something interesting to note though about running a light weight exhaust is that the car can actually lose some of its "handling" performance. Dropping anywhere from 25-40+ pounds from the exhaust means that you are removing weight and thus traction from your driving wheels. The tail def becomes a lot more lively and easier to toss. For the non experienced driver, this is something that should be considered.
