Best shocks to go along with my KG/MM springs
I just installed the KG/MM super sport springs and was wondering which aftermarket shocks I should go with or just sell these and get the Tein RAs?

Personally, i think our stock OEM Showa are good shocks. It has a separate reservoir. Plus the fact a lot of our board members, use the stock OEM shocks with aftermarket lowering springs with out any problems. I'm tring to get a set of KG/MM race springs myself...sources tells me that, they might be discontinue....

oem showa shocks are great and all, but they wiill eventually get worn down since they can't handle the increased rates of aftermarket springs. for the first year or two, it'll be fine. after that, you will notice the ride being a little more bouncy and handling will start getting sloppy. just do it right, and get new shocks and springs installed at the same time. that way you will save on labor costs, etc. i made this mistake with my accord, and i definately learned my lesson. pulling out the suspension two times is a pain in the ass.

I am really not that happy with the way it rides right now with the stock shocks and the KG/MM. I couldn't lower my car too much so that's why I got the super sport instead of the race ones.
I already paid for them and installation so I was hoping that the Konis would work well with them instead of having to fork out 1600 for coil overs.
Any other suggestion or recommendations?

^ interesting, since the kg/mm SS is one of the "milder" spring offerings. And of course you shocks would be very much like new.
Can you give an idea what it is about the ride you now don't like vs OEM ?
Without much research avail for the 04 (not sure that it will be a whole lot diff) you might wait a bit cuz I doubt buying koni yellows will correct that much more over your fairly new shocks. (IMO)

The stock set up I think is perfect but I needed to lower the car to get rid of the wheel gap.
Wish I just kept the stock set up but now it's too late.
Will order the Konis today so all should be well soon.
