Guaranteed.
Let me clarify. One of the connectors is switched 12v, one is ground, and the other (I believe its the middle one) is the port I'm talking about that only receives 12v with the headlights on.

I will edit my post to reflect this.

Actually I need to retract my statements again because I do remember one port being constant battery 12v but I don't remember which one.

Billman do you know what I'm talking about? I am 100000% sure one of the ports only gets 12v with the headlights on though.

As soon as you turn the lights on that slot supplies 12 volts. I'll be damned, I never expected that. I had a gauge grounded in that location but I haven't used the car yetsince installing the gauge -good thing lol. I'm glad I read this thread before running the car. I'm definitely going to move my ground now. I never seen anything in the shop manual about that.

Thanks for the info

I can't take credit for that pic. I saw it on a thread a while back and saved it because I thought it was useful info. Glad it helped though.

Well thanks for posting either way. I just can't believe I missed it because I tested the spare slot with ignition on, but I never would have thought it would change with the lights turned on.

I wonder why Honda would have a port that supplies 12volts only when the lights are turned on and ground at all other times ?

Hey guys,

Glad I found this post before I spliced my ignition wire. What male plug are you using to fit the ignition port?

Thanks, Geebs

How many things can I wire to the ignition power in the fuse block under the dash?
