Amsoil, Signature Synthetic 10w30 ALL THE TIME in the S. (Amsoil brake fluid, honda MTF- trans, Amsoil 75w110 diff, Honda Antifreeze)
Mobil 1 synthetic 5w30 in the civic ALL THE TIME.

Started with Valvolene and now using Mobil-1 full time. Realistically, it's probably not so important brand wise but it is important to do the scheduled maintainance on time every time.

There are no clear winners are most simply recommend whatever they're using. If you're really concerned then do some UOA's to see what works for car and your driving.

No matter what you choose,some will swear by it and others will swear at it.
FWIW....I run Amsoil 0-30 in all my cars listed below.Over 300K trouble free miles.I also prefer Wix Oil filters.

I've always sworn by Castrol GTX. That's all I've run in every car I've owned. I'm thinking about switching to GTX High Mileage for the s2000, though. Just because its partial synthetic, vs Full synthetic, which is supposedly bad for high mileage engines.
