I use Mobil 1 full synthetic. Most Honda dealerships use mobil 1 when customers opt for synthetic.

I've tried Castrol and Mobil 1. Both seemed the same in my AP1. Just got my Amsoil diff/trans/motor oil shipped in yesterday and I'm looking forward to putting them in.

I only use Mobil 1 syn 10w30 on my TL-S, S2000 and CRV all year long, no problem at all.

Started with Valvolene and now using Mobil-1 full time. Realistically, it's probably not so important brand wise but it is important to do the scheduled maintainance on time every time.

All of the countless prior threads on the topic are available for reference.

There are no clear winners are most simply recommend whatever they're using. If you're really concerned then do some UOA's to see what works for car and your driving.

No matter what you choose, some will swear by it and others will swear at it.

FWIW....I run Amsoil 0-30 in all my cars listed below.Over 300K trouble free miles.I also prefer Wix Oil filters.

I've always sworn by Castrol GTX. That's all I've run in every car I've owned. I'm thinking about switching to GTX High Mileage for the s2000, though. Just because its partial synthetic, vs Full synthetic, which is supposedly bad for high mileage engines.

EDIT: My S has right at 105,000 miles.
