This is my point exactly. You gained 15 HP with the CAI and vafc. Remember the topic of this thread - "Cold Air Intake".

Since you got the 15 HP with BOTH, you cannot attribute this gain to the intake alone. As I indicated earlier, it has been posted here that a vafc can net you up to 10 or more HP. If this holds true in your case, then the intake is only responsible for about 5 (although this analogy is still quite vague).

he says no A/F tuning was done with the vafc, only the vtec engagement point was altered. if that's true, then the gains were mainly from the intake.

although i find a 10rwhp gain a little far fetched for an intake.
