so i purchased a NEW berks test pipe... i'm still throwing a cel even though it has that o2 simulator fix straight from BERKS. so what to do? can i add an anti-fowler to it?

02 sim welded? I have a Berk test pipe and you should not be using a simulator. Off of the actual pipe there is a smaller pipe where you should have your actual 02 sensor screwed in. This allows the exhaust fumes to travel below the 02 sensor, thus no cells are thrown.

Make sure what code is present before attempting to fix the wrong thing.

My Berk TP is throwing a CEL aswell... but this is because 06's have a more sensitive 02 sensor (from what ive heard).

Im just going to add one anti-fouler to it .

I think the AP2s are somewhat more sensitive with that O2 sensor than the AP1s are. My car has a berk TP and a sparkplug antifouler to keep the CEL away.

But for a standard P4 code, you can add another O2 anti-fouler to decrease CEL frequency... but you might want to check your plugs are the appropriate temp rating and that your FPR is not super rich.

I still can throw a CEL occasionally if I'm crawling along at low revs. I bought a code scanner from Ebay for $20 and just check and reset the CELs as needed.

i have an 07 with 400 miles on it... let me know if that works. i'm already planning to want to sell this damn test pipe. it didn't even seal correctly on the donut when i tried to install it.

NOTE: is it safe? i'm not sure what the 2nd o2 is actually for... but in simple terms i was told it just checks to see if the primary o2 is working...
