Default berk test pipe 63

yo guys..just installed the test pipe today..sounds awesome!!

the only problem is that i hear a buzzing noise in between 3000-3500k

its the buzzing noise that i hear from most civics and integras with stock exhausts...like a high pitched bee...ive done some research and havent really found the answer as to why..maybe you guys might be able to help??

it buzzes when i accelerate and deccerlerate in that rpm range
installed a 63mm test pipe with my stock piping..

kind of sounds like the buzzing in this video..but not as bad

i posted this in the modifications section..but i dont think that was the right place.

My 07 does this too. 63mm TP. Stock exhaust. It diminishes after a few weeks/months. Mine only does it when I give too much gas at 2-3000rpm.

Put the catalytic converter back on, the buzzing will stop.

Check your sensor and see if it's loose. That can create a rattle similar to that

I had the same issue when I installed a test pipe.

It sounded great in certain rpm's, but I hated the added buzzing/raspiness the test pipe gave my exhaust. I felt like it cheapened the car, it honestly sounded like a 93 civic dx running a straight pipe.

I found the sound was the worst during high rpm shifts as soon as I'd let off the throttle.

JMO, it sounds like a cheap exhaust. If you pull the converter from the stock exhaust or a low quality aftermarket it usually sounds like this. Get yourself a quality hot gas piece and this will disapeer. Or just put the converter back on. good luck.
