berk test pipe?
hey i was just about to order a berk test pipe when i read that the 2007 s2000's have a high chance of throwing a cel even with the cel fix built in. i was wondering if there was another one i could get or im probably going to throw a cel light anyway bc i have a 2007.
thanks in advance,
andrew

From what I understand, it is not all 06+ s2ks that get the cel, but it is just more common to get one with them. You will just need to extend the o2 sensor out even more. Here is one scroll down till you find the part called "DME Check Engine Light Eliminator." You can find it at http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templates/fr...=289&SearchYN=N

If it throws a CEL use an anti-fouler and it will get rid of the CEL. Its a 50/50 chance you will throw CEL with it. Mine did and a friends never did, and I have heard both sides on the boards too.
I would only run one if you plan on some type of tuning though, over time your ecu can make a test pipe actually decrease HP and rob you opf TQ in the midrange. If you tune the car for running the test pipe than disregard my last statement.

yea its pretty much just a risk wether you get a cel or not. go with the berk, i have it and am happy, i also do not have a CEL. like previously stated all cars are different though. if you trigger the CEL just extend it like previously meantioned. i believe almost all test pipe's with the CEL fix are gonna be pretty similar.
