You mean that the catalyst core is loose?

Did not happen to me, but this cat gets really hot (so I expect that the life expectancy is shorter than with the OEM cat)

Well how long one can expect the berk HFC to last? I was thinking about buying one but if it doesn't last that long than it's probably not worth $269 bucks!

mine is too years old and I had never problems with it, and I really abuse of it..

Almost every aftermarket part you buy is going to last less than the OEM replacement (header, exhaust, cat, etc etc..) OEM parts are designed to last forever

i posted the issue under topic description.

edit: lets hope berk updated their CAT so it doesnt break so easily especially from the constant vibrations from our s2k's.

I have heard two stories locally of berk cats with a weird rattle. Is this the same issue?

what you heard locally maybe different than my issue or it could be the same. i dont want to jeopardize Berk Techonology. i am here for my own issue and experiences i've had for the past 5-6 months.

Bryan at Berk said he was going to give me 30% off for a new CAT but i needed to know how to put the order in with the discount so i emailed him but never got a reply.

this video is 1 of 4 i recorded which i sent to Bryan for a review. We came to a conclusion that the catalyst core was loose.
