Berk HF Cat Installed. CEL just came on. advice?
I just installed the Berk Tech HF Cat 64mm the other night, and last night the check engine light came on... i'm kinda pissed off about it considering i purchased the high flow purposly so that i didn't have any CEL problems...any advice..

1st piece of advice is to go get your codes pulled.
2nd piece of advice is to check what the codes are calling out - if it calls out your Secondary O2 sensor, then double check that you got everything put back right and no wires were broken.
If that all checks out, do the TP CEL fix.

Hopefully it's something dumb like the O2 sensor isn't plugged in. However, it wouldn't particularly surprise me, the 06+ cars seem to be pretty picky about catalytic converters. I have a test pipe on my 07 and it's impossible to keep the CEL away.

[QUOTE]Updating this thread. My car is the one Iceman is speaking about in his post.
Well... 2 antifoulers is NOT the magic number for MY06+ cars.
I'm so tired of it, I've put my OEM cat back on, and am eventually going to get a Berk HFC.
I can't stand continuously having to pull the O2 sensor and clean it off. (and the TP turning my exhaust tips gold
