that's all assuming that the test was done correctly. It doesn't sound like you have any real symptoms with the engine. You might want to consider a second test by a different auto shop just to be sure before you throw money into it. It could be something as simple as worn rings, not necessarily the valves, there's probably a lot of cars out there with some bad rings and running fairly normal. I'd get a second opinion if it was my car.

The only way to know for sure is to take off the head. I had similar issues, but it was not bent valve/rings/hg. I took it all apart because it ran like it had a bent valve and was leaking 25% from 2 & 3. Turns out dealers are not very thorough with checking injectors. Nothing was wrong with internals and most likely I have stuck injector(s) that washed the cylinder walls causing the lose in seal and misfiring.
Do the testing yourself, the stuff is inexpensive and easy to do (YouTube is your friend), or get a second opinion. That way you can be sure. If it is indeed leaking from #3, it is relativley simple to take the motor apart with the help of the service manual and this forum. The head took me all day with a friend to get completely torn off. You can get the head vac tested by a machine shop. If that comes back good, the oil pan is easy to remove and undo the rod ends. You can push the pistons up through the block. Just have a helper to catch them as they come out and fly a little and can fall and jack up $200 pistons or the block.
I'm currently waiting on parts to put mine back together and verify the injector. I have a friend that is a Master Tech for Honda helping me diagnose. Where did you buy the car from? Usually, most car lots that aren't Honda Dealers neglect to inspect the car thoroughly due to not being familiar with the vehicle...
