Test it again tomorrow. Then the next day. Then you should def know.

Your own self test looks most consistent with the 1st shop (low cyl 3).

Your engine is in the exact same state as when you purchased it, almost right down to the % of consistency. I'll bet with the right gauge and conditions (I can elaborate on optimal conditions for highest numbers), you can hit those exact numbers.

Your test is identical to the one taken at purchase, consistency wise.

and this would state that i do have a problem with cylinder 3 correct? would you assume it needs immediate attention?

Its off enough to warrant further investigation yes. I would do it sooner then later yes. But unless its valve related, there isn't anything you can do about it short of a bottom end rebuild/replace, so make sure the valves are seating fully and at proper adjustment(that means no bent valves)This is where leak down test now is called for. If you have done this and determined without a doubt that all is sound with the valvetrain, then just have to live with it. Drive the car and enjoy for as long as the motor lets you.

I don't know what it is with shops and compression tests. I asked my dealership to do a compression test because of a misfire and they said that had low compression in cylinder 3, quoted me a new engine and install.

I went to autozone and bought a compression tester and my cylinders read 230 across the board.

Hit up Tony Fuchs at Mid Valley. He's reputable and can be trusted.

See. This s*** is so scary to me. A Honda dealership. Then you go and test it yourself and have perfect results. Saved yourself $6-8k+. And it would be very difficult to do the compression test yourself so improperly that it would hide a symptom due to the nature of what is happening in the test. The only thing I can think of is if your battery weakened and showed your last cylinder as lower because it wasn't cranking as hard.
