Bent Rear Lower Tie Bar (Stiffener)

Default Bent Rear Lower Tie Bar (Stiffener)
I was jacking up the car using the diff jack point. The car slipped off of the jack and landed on the tie bar, denting/bending it slightly. I drove the car and didn't notice any difference in handling. How important is this part? Is it dangerous to drive with a bent tie bar? Here's a pic:
