Trying your question with google results in numerous discussions.. try it.
Here is brief answer..
'Lightening the flywheel cannot result in increased steady state horsepower as measured by a dyno. After all, the flywheel is not an energy creating device. However since a flywheel does absorb and store some of the energy generated by the engine during acceleration, a lighter flywheel does result in increased transient state energy delivered to the rear wheel, and some therefore measurable acceleration improvement.'

advantage of having lightened flywheel it will get u to the vtec faster because its less inertia to the motor. in other words, it will make only make your car rev faster than normal time.
The only bad part about that is loosing torque and you may ony feel this when hard shifting because it will not push you that hard to the seat anymore. Honestly, its hard to tell unless you are going competition such as autocross...

A light weight flywheel is a very good idea if you are supercharged since the parasitic drag of the S/C is so high.
The Competition Clutch Light Weight Steel Flywheel offers a pretty good compromise at close to 11lbs. The Comptech Flywheel is about 9lbs. While the toda is even lighter. The probability of buzzing increases as the weight goes down but you also gain a bit of performance.
