Default Begging for Help

I have a 2000 S2000 with 85,000 miles.

Today I went to the drive ins with my son, and I had the car running the entire duration of the movie. I went to the gas station and filed the gas tank, when I left the gas station I noticed that the car felt a little sluggish. I got on the freeway and drove about 20 miles and while I was going about 75 to 80 Miles per hour the car started making a really rough noise and I noticed the smell of burning clutch.

At this point the car started to slow down, so I took the car out of gear.

At the point I took the car out of gear the car turned off, and at this point the smell of a burning clutch got even worse. I made my way to the right shoulder and pulled over. I attempted to start the car up again, but it wouldn't start. It tried to crank but it sounded as if the car was struggling to get the fly wheel to turn.

The smell of burning clutch was very overwhelming at this point, but the car still refused to start.

If the clutch did go bad, why won't it crank over? Has any ever had any experience like this before in their S2000.

I have had my clutch go out in many cars, but it has never prevented the car from starting.

PLEASE IF ANYONE HAS ANY INPUT I AM ALL EYES, I WON'T THINK ANY INPUT IS A WASTE OF TIME OR STUPID SINCE I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE TO EVEN START LOOKING FOR THE PROBLEM. I AM HOPING ITS THE CLUTCH BECAUSE THAT IS SOMETHING I CAN FIX, BUT I DON'T WANT TO GO SPEND ALL THE MONEY ON A NEW FLYWHEEL AND CLUTCH AND FIND OUT THE CAR STILL DOESN'T START WHEN I INSTALL IT.

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE TO EVERYONE FOR THEIR INPUT!!!!!!!

Will the transmission row through the gears OK? The only reason I could see the engine locking down with that type of smell would be something internal transmission related. The only way to find out is pull the transmission, you'll probably have to do it for any fix at this point.

The tranny disengages perfectly okay, and I am able to put the car in neutral to push it around.

The hydrolics are okay as well, I checked the system, but when I got to try to start the car every time the engine tries to turn over it smells like burnt clutch.

Could the clutch or flywheel gotten damaged to the point where the starter can't turn it?

Okay, so to clear this up.

No Check Engine Light...
No Over heating...
No Lack of Oil... Oil Level is perfectly normal...

There is spark, there is gas, there is oil...

Tried turning the crank with a ratchet and it turns easily by hand

There is no Leaking of oil or water, and nothing is dripping.
