Battery Drain...now this?
Im so used to having automatic light shutoff i sometimes forget to shut the HIDs off, so i was at school and about 4 hrs later my friend calls and tells me my lights are on, they arent completely drained but just about there, go out, jump it and start it up and let it run for 20mins. I go to drive the car yesterday and noticed a Check engine. My question is ... does anyone know off the top of their head what it could be or has this happened to anyone else? second is how do i pull a cel code
Thank you for any helpful advice.

I once let the battery drain very low, and it did trigger a CEL. I never pulled the code -- just reset the ECU. Everything was fine after that.
So pull the code and see what it says, but before you spend any money I would also suggest resetting the ECU and seeing if it was actually a real problem.

I doubt its a real problem ive examined the car for a while today checking idle and anything else performance wise i could think of and nothing has changed in it, then i headed over to my gfs house to use her brothers computer and it gave me the following :
P1607
Manfacurer Contrl.
Auxiliary Inputs
Auxiliary Outputs
DTC Pending (Codes)
No Faults Detected.
So tomorrow im just going to reset the ECU and get the annoying CEL off
