It's a nightmare man.. can't drive it, I suck with electrical!

Looked under the hood and there is a ground going from the the front subframe or whatever to the bottom of the block.. then there is a long ground also coming from the same spot on the subframe but I don't know were the other end of that ground goes

Im curious to see what the problem is cause this would probably help out future s2k owners if it ever happens to them. Hopefully Billman reports back, if anyone can fix anything on a s2k its that guy.

try to run a temporary ground from that terminal to a grounding bolt or even to the battery terminal. Then see if you can get the alt to push 14+. Also try to run a ground wire from the battery terminal to the alt body. See if any of those situations work for you.

What do the volts read at the battery while the car is idling?

It's not clear from your posts whether you are actually measuring voltages. With all the time and money you've invested, break down and buy a multi-meter and start tracking voltages. A cheap meter is only $20; without one you are working in the dark.

Well got up this morning ( well it was almost 12 ) anyway, went out with my meter and started testing anything and everything... hooked a ground to the alt and the - on the battery and still only read 11.xx from the battery.. so then I got my test light just to make sure and hooked the neg to the alt case and put the point of the light on the back of the alt bolt and it lit up.. well wtf, went to the battery and made sure again I wasent getting power, same as it was only 11.xx ( I drove this battery home at night from work cause the other batt died so it was alittle undercharged ) im looking around and deside to check the power wires that go to the under hood fuse box and below is what I found

Checked the big fuse and it was fine.. looked at the wires and the one from the alt wasent touching the terminal on the fuse box.. wtf, took it off cleaned the terminal and bent the cable back straight like it should put it together and..

Now im getting volts to the battery, let it run for a few and volts went from 11.xx to high 13.xx havent drove it around yet but I think it might be fixed..

But now - rad fans arnt coming on, they use to come on and I figured it was just cause of the alt problem but they still didnt kick on after it sat.. turned on the A/c and the cond. fan didnt turn on eather.. Also have a plug I can figure out were it goes

Its on the passanger side
