base map for stroker build
Hello all, I've got a new engine for my 2001 s2000. I am planning to take it to the dyno for proper tuning, but I need a base map to start the car and make sure the basics are ok before I tow it to the dyno. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've got the AEMv2 ECU. Anyone have any experience with a build like this? Experiences? Thoughts? Thanks for the help!

Why don't you call the shop and ask them to give you one? Or bring them the ecu. Best thing to do would be to use AAA to tow it to them and get them to do it since the initial start up is the most crucial. That what I did with my stroker motor.

If your tuner can't / won't provide a base map, have it towed or find a different tuner. No way I'd trust some random guy on the internet to make me a free map for such an expensive build.

Thanks for the responses. I was really hoping to idle it a few times before I tow it to the dyno. Just to make sure I don't have any major issues, but I guess I'll just tow it to them and hope that I got everything right. I asked the dyno shop if they would give me a map since they are very experienced with the AEM ECU, but they said they wouldn't do it. The main reason I want to idle it a few times before the dyno is I have replaced SO many things at once.
Thanks!
Thanks!
