Banjo Bolts - Necessary Upgrade?
I have an 01' S2K and am wondering if it's necessary or worthwhile to upgrade to the new banjo bolts.
If so, is it easy to do, or does it require additional parts, etc? I'm still a bit unclear about how this works, what it does, why it's better, etc.
Anyone with some info? Thanks!

Also, how much rear differential fluid do I need to replace? I thought one quart (Mobil 1 synthetic 75-90wt) was sufficient, but the Honda mechanic said he believes it takes more. Anyone know if I need to purchase two quarts or more for this?

Thanks for the info on the Banjo Bolts! I may have to do that!
As for the rear diff, I've seen the DIY thread, but I wasn't sure if one quart was enough or not. It didn't specifically say.

squeeze as much of the fluid in there as will go in (probably most of the bottle - 1 liter or qt.).

As good as your Acura tech may be, perhaps he's NOT the one to go to for S2000 work?

I found out from Honda how much it took, so we were fine. Yes, my Acura guy is the one to go to. I wouldn't trust anyone else. Just because he hadn't done a rear diff change on an S2000 doesn't mean he doesn't know how. And obviously, once you know the capacity, you see that it takes just under a full quart.
He's done some work on the S2000, but obviously, not too many people take the S2000 to Acura, especially with as few as there are in this town. Only a few people take their S2000 there.
Since when is the mechanic supposed to know off the top of his head how much fluid each and every car takes? And don't you think you'd find it out before doing it?
