Default Banjo Bolt Torque Question

When installing my oil banjo bolts today I had a differing reading from my two torque wrenches by 5ft lb's. I torqued all of the bolts down using a guage type torque wrench and stopped at 12ft lb's as indicated in the service manual (The manual states that you must be precise with this).

After finishing the fourth bolt I went over everything with my click style wrench and found that each bolt went about another 1/2-1 turn before a click. I then checked each bolt over with my guage type and there was 0 movement at 17ft lb..

So, I went with the click style as it was a snap-on tool and I felt it was probably the most accurate.

If I am wrong and they actually all did go to 17ft lb will this cause any damage?

17 ft lbs will crush the oil jet itself and affect it's flow.

I would double check where you have the click-type wrench set at.

If you torque a bolt to 12 lbs, then wait a second, it will take more than that to make it move again.

Well, that's not good. The click style was definitely set at 12. I did a visual on everything and did not notice any bowing/extruding of the sides of the jets. Would I have been able to see it?

What are the torque ranges of the two wrenches? i.e. 10-250 ft/lb, or whatever.
