Default Ball Joint Tool

Harbor Freight

Will this tool work? I wanna replace the lower rear ball joing in the knuckle.

I prefer the one suggested by Ray but whatever you do DONT use a fork like this one:
Tie Rod Separator
It kills the ball joint.

I was looking at the 1st one because I want to be able to press the ball joints in. Will this handle the job?

if they are broken already just use the fork....like racer said they dont have to be press in I just used my airgun and they went in when you tighten down the

What you need is a BFPB(BIG F****N PRY BAR). When I had to remove my diff for gears this is what my brother inlaw brought to use who is an ex mechanic, it is basically about 3 feet long with a flat slightly curved end the other is pointed and it is about an inch in diameter or more. Both ball joints were done in less than a minute. If you saw how easy this was you would crack up.

and no gouged boots.
