Bad Spark plug tube seal?

Bad Spark plug tube seal?
Was planning on doing a valve adjustment today and when I was pulling the coils out I noticed one was oily and the spark plug was a bit loose. When i pulled the valve cover I noticed that same cylinders spark plug tube seal was "popped out".
Now ive done a bit of searching on the forum to compare seals. Found this pic in the valve adjustment how to thread. And I noticed they are all popped out. So which is normal? Tried pushing that one back in and it wouldnt stay.

i just pulled my valve cover last week and my spark plug tube gasket was like yours; gasket was over the tube that had oil in it as well. im assuming that this is what caused a misfiring code and caused my car to hesitate quite bad. i wasnt sure if this was the cause or not but i just went ahead and replaced all 4 while i did a valve adjustment and put a new valve cover gasket on. my car seems to run better.
in your first picture, the top gasket is the correct way when you put the vc back on. you should be able to push it back in, i was but i replaced them anyways. i believe that it is possible for the gasket to flip inside out when you pull the vc off as you see in your second pic.

This happens almost 100% of the time when pulling the valve cover.
Just flip them back with your finger, so they sit like this / \ when installed on the car.
If you ALREADY have a leak, you may have a cut seal.

Thanks for the replies guys, so I went ahead and bought 4 new gaskets.
Looking at the helms it says to install the gasket onto the tube then put the valve cover on.
Is that what you guys did? Seems like it would be easier to install them into the valve cover.

Put them in the cover.
Put a light coat of oil on the outside of the seal, and push it in with your fingers. dont make them too deep. use where the old ones are sitting as a guide.
You may find when putting the cover on, the tube seals wont pop over the tubes.
After bolting down, use a dull object to push the seals just past the top of the tube.
Oil the inside of the seals before installing the VC.
Put a light coat of oil on the outside of the seal, and push it in with your fingers. dont make them too deep. use where the old ones are sitting as a guide.
You may find when putting the cover on, the tube seals wont pop over the tubes.
After bolting down, use a dull object to push the seals just past the top of the tube.

now i'm hoping i installed mine correctly.
all i did was put the seals on the cover, and put the cover on.
the cover wouldn't sit flush...kinda like it was floating a bit.
i figured it was because the seals weren't "broken in" yet...so i just pushed the cover down and tightened the bolts.
i hope i'm fine.
it's been a couple years now...nothing out of the ordinary.

I ordered some new tube seals from a Honda dealer due to them getting cut from removal for powdercoating the cover, but they look different than what is in the S's valve cover. Can you tell me if Honda upgraded them or something? Here is the part number I got 30522-PFB-007. When I cross reference this number on Majestic Honda, it just comes back as a "seal, plug hole" at $3.37 a piece, but doesnt specify the car it goes on or show a picture.
When I just do a search on Majestic Honda for the actual tube seal on the valve cover for the S, it gives me part number 12342-PCX-004 at $2.82 a piece.
Which is the correct part?
