I dont remember my pedal moving up nor down, just had a quicker response since i didnt have to drag through slack.

It made heel toeing much easier for me as there is, now, no extra play in the pedal. However, the position of the pedal has not changed just the extra slack in the cable attached to it has.

you want ~1/4" vertical play in the throttle cable. More slack and you might not be at full throttle when you floor the pedal. Less slack and you're asking for trouble
