what about changing the fuel filter ? and maybe a dodgy fuel pump on its way out maybe ? all well maybe an excuse to put a walbro gss 342 in
The S2000 doesn't have an inline fuel filter. It's more of a sock filter in the gas tank.

got a rebuild? man got money. well building my head as well. must be your head though. who did your rebuild? Replace one if not all valves? the guides? the springs and retainers? just kidding. Well, people say rebuilds sucks ass, as for others they say its fine if it is properly replaced and torqued. hopefully you find your answers.

It could be your IAC (idle Air Control) on the intake manifold that causing the idling problem. Remove it and clean it with some rubbing alcohol and try it, if its bad then replace it.

u've obviously never changed one then..

the fuel filter is an entire unit itself connected to the fuel pump

and thats in addition to the fuel pump sock

Could the fuel injector cleaner and octane booster make her bog and idle rough like that???????? --snip--
You may have dumped an octane booster that has a bit of lead added to it. If that's the case, it may have plugged up the O2 sensor. Then you prolly need to replace the primary O2 sensor. But that's just a maybe. Leaded gas or additives are not good for our cars.

Have you checked your injectors since you said your scanner said you had misfire. Mine did that when i replaced the motor in my car. Away to find out is turn the car on and remove your heat shield from the header. one of the header pipes was significantly colder than the rest and I had spark. I also broke my TDC CAM sensor when i replaced the engine. And the car bogged like crazy had no power past 5k and motor/test pipe seemed to be hot as hell but temp gauge read fine. I think its due to the dry and unefficient cylinder. Also I just replaced one of my friends injector on his BMW. Scanner showed it as misfire in cylinders 123, I checked the coilpacks and no power going to them. But nothing to do with the injector. Way i found out was with a diffrent diagnostic that reads injector volumes all were at 0.00, cylinder one at 4.63. Replaced injector and car finally ran past 80 mph.

Oh and another thing my friends BMW would also lose power from time to time. And even thou he didnt have power to the coils was because i think the ECu was progeammed to shut down the coils to prevent dry fire in the cyllinder. But it never showed a code of an injector.

I don't know about you, but replacing the fuel filter wouldn't be on the top of my list. It's in the fuel tank. Telling a guy to replace the fuel filter is easier than actually doing it.

Inline fuel filter=easy to replace.

S2000 fuel filter=not so easy to replace
