Octane booster? And I've filled my tank on accident with regular gas...shouldn't cause it to throw a check engine light nor did i replace the spark plugs. As long as you take it easy you should be fine...Are you sure the check engine is the result of bad gas? You should get the code pulled first

Try Tums if you have bad gas problems. They have other meds as well.

Damn... I have almost the same problem. I filled up some 91 gas in chevron and the light came right up when I started the car. Dunno why. Changed Coil pack and spark plugs but the problem couldn't be solved.
