you can easily attribute 25% less fuel economy to winter temps and winter fuel. It takes longer for the engine to warm up, colder air temps reduce fuel economy and winter fuel makes it even worse. The combination is worth at least 25%, so you aren't too far off, sounds pretty normal to me.

Expect cold idles to kill your MPG.

My mileage has dropped from 26 to 21 mpg.

dang and i enjoyed using autostart on my car too...i guess i'll stop using it. what i find harder to believe is how you used to get "mid 20's" especially w/ a sc..unless you're doing like 80% hwy...but yea 16 does sound terrible. that's like 90% local stop and go traffic.
