Default bad crank position sensor?

So my car died on the highway and i couldn't get it to start up... I had it towed to my buddies garage and it sat there for a week or so.
it cranks fine, but doesn't get any spark at all
gets fuel and the compression is fine forget the numbers, but it was good

Things i've done to try and solve this issue
1. I wasn't able to pull a code since the battery was completely dead and it said p1361 when i could pull the code prior to driving it

2.put a brand new battery in

3.when i pull the plug for the cps off it fires right up for some reason and then i'll try to start it with it plugged in and it wont fire up... I read up on the issue a bit and i guess if your cps goes bad it defaults to the cam position sensors... then why would having that plug plugged in not allow it to start... if it was bad wouldn't it just default to the cam position sensors anyways??

4.I also swapped out the 650cc injectors that i've been running and put the stock ones back in and took the emanage off... still does the same exact thing... cranks all day but no spark but starts up when the stupid plug is unplugged...

BTW i'm boosted and running on emanage ult

please help... can't realy get this thing figured out... found one thread on here with someone with the similar problem and he said problem fixed!!! and then never let the rest of us know what his issue was... did mention something about the crank position sensor tho... i don't think he tried unplugging his and trying to start it...
