Bad alternator?

If C404 is unplugged and the ELD is plugged in, and the fuse doesn't blow the short is not at the ELD. The ELD is supplied power before C404. You really need to get an ETM to see how the circuit is wired.

You are a genius or at least you are tonight. I got under the car tracked down the o2 sensor harness and sure as $hit it was pinched between the tranny and motor. A few wires are broken but at least it was found.
