Backyard Special Spoiler
I was wondering how many holes you have to drill to install the BYS spoiler?
If you have to drill hole does it match with the 2 OEM spoiler holes?
Where a good place I can get the BYS spoiler? I'll take replicals.
Post up your BYS spoiler pics!
thanks

You remember that this is an international board right? Some are sleeping other are eating. It has only been 30min between your posts.
And how does something that goes on the outside of the car, mounted to the trunk, qualify for an Under the Hood topic anyway?
BTW: Just poking you in fun.

I'm pretty sure it bolts into the stock (5) brake light holes.

the BYS spoiler does not require you to drill any holes anywhere on the car, thats the beauty of it. It uses the 5 holes that used to bolt the 3rd brake light on the trunk; you will need to remove the 3rd brake light to install it.
It will not cover any OEM spoiler or aftermarket apoiler drilled holes.
when installing, you will want to use some 3M padded double-sided tape to put in between the spoiler and the mounting place(at the 5 bolting holes). This is not to try to hold the spoiler in place but to prevent scratching anything up(even places that you wont see) and to prevent noise/movement between the hatch and the spoiler AND, prevent water getting into the holes/trunk.
there is also a rectangle hole that you want to use some white silicon to seal it, so water doesnt get in.
I dont know where you can get a BYS spoiler now but I got one used with the help from Ben, Dickson and Justin @ AJ Racing
