I prefer a nice paper service manual.

Lol I'm working on it. This weekend I MUST do this. I get deterred and de motivated searching for an axle or a way to fix it since that is what it's pointing to. I can't find the Honda kit you spoke of, but did get the manual downloaded.

Got under car, driver side axle is toast. Can grab it on the shaft closest to the wheel and slap it around, the cv joint is gone as you had visioned Billman. Next step?

Auto zone and Napa don't even have availability to order one, their manufacture stopped making them. Advanced auto has one they can order and get in 3 days time for 230 dollars. I am on hondpartsunlimited.com looking at their blowup of the driveshaft sets, and am unsure of what I will need to buy to fix it myself, looks like the joint itself is around 250, and the axles complete are around 500. Not sure which way to go. Thanks guys.

Whatever you do, make sure you fix it with Honda parts. I've had a few cars here with auto-parts axles and they ride like garbage.

Find a complete axle from the for sale forum.

Found an OEM axle for 100, should be picking it up today and have a moving car by night time.
