I'll bet its an axle, left side inner broken joint.

Buy the CV kit from Honda and fix your stock axle. DO NOT GIVE UP your stock axle. You will get a vibration with that auto-parts-house garbage axle that will never go away. TRUST ME ON THIS. Theres a reason those axles are 58 bucks.

I'm also leaning toward an axle now that I think about it in more detail. I was able to push the car in neutral by myself. The rearend wasn't making any noise while I was pushing it or fighting me back at all. From what I have read on here, it would he hard to turn the wheels period if the differential is all mangled up. Which would make sense. Thanks guys. Bill man u are the shit. Lol

I wish there was enough of the OEM one left to rebuild I would have if I could but the splines were gone

no issues thus far with the aftermarket axle.

ii just finished swapping out my differential cuz i dumped on it in 1st gear. i found the diff for 500 off an ap2 and took me all together like 3 hours using the DIY forum to swap. but i had a rumbling of metal coming out of my diff which i blew. you would know if it was the Diff

By this description, I can guarantee it is the axle. 95% chance it is the left side inner spider broken inside the axle.

Haven't found anything as of yet, would really appreciate just a list of tools I will be needing for this job. I want to buy a nice chilton manual, but haven't found the time to and don't see the point in it when I have great folk like you to bother .
