I just did mine 2 weeks ago. I was told you "can" do the job without pulling the axles out, but it is tight/cramped and access will be a major pain.

It really isn't that hard to remove the lower ball joint. I rented the tool from Kragen. No charge upon return. After running back and forth to the parts stores multiple times for this project my biggest piece of advice would be........................get the correct tool for the job. It makes life alot easier.

After finally getting everything loose, the swap and regreasing only took about 30 minutes.

Hi guys,I tought i gave this tread a try since i am subscribed to it..
Did the CV joint change and this tread helped a lot.
Unfortunatly i had to take the CV joint out yesterday to find out that the inner part broke. so i remembered this tread and wanted to give a try to the members if i can get help on a part i need to buy
if somebody has for sale or for giveaway the inner CV joint part without the Bearings.. Mine broke yesterday after i louched in 1st...
here how the part looks and honda doesnt sell it separatly i have to buy the whole CV joint to get it...
anyone that has one mail me on stefce@hotmail.com i am ready to pay for it.

I will be doing the swap tomorrow, I am uncertain on how to remove the OEM clamps that hold the boot on.

I,ve had a vibration in the rear since i lowered the car, i did the install, alignment and tire balance myself and i know that was all done right might try this soon.

38k on the clock

Took me 3.5 hrs, no special tools needed on my end. I also didn't remove the half shaft.
