Attack of the CEL! Valves?
So Im throwing the following codes:
P0300
P0301
P0302
P0303
P0304
P1399
I know everybody here is gonna say injectors but my mechanic thinks it may need a valve adjustment (If it does, he wants to have somebody who knows the car better tackle it). The car runs fine at speed but the idle is not perfect. Also when coming to a stop and upon depressing the clutch, the car sputters and acts like its going to stall but then catches itself. It has never actually stalled out. It just goes back to a normal idle. It does it all the time. Im not too sure what is going on. I always run 93 in my car. Spark plugs look good as well.
Opinions? Thanks.

Im guessing that your car has a bit of "pulsating sound" when idling? You get the cel only while idle or preparing to start?
I have the same problem that's been going on for a while. Spark plug replaced, switch coil around, valve adjustement, pcv valve. Nothing fixed the random misfires. It started with a random cel on Cyl 1, then 2 then 3 and 4 and now it's just all of them.
I know my next step is to change injectors but since it's running fine I'll just wait it out. It's weird, I did 600 km and 60 track km this weekend and no check engine. very random.

Looking through various posts on the issue is a good idea. There are a number of causes and new injectors are not the cheapest of repairs. There are some preliminary checks and steps that you might want to do first. I've been through quite a bit of work so far and I've just ordered new injectors today. I hope it works for me but I know there are no guarantees. There is quite a bit to consider though. Good luck.

I can't tell you yet about the effect of the new injectors, I've ordered them and expect to get them installed next week or sooner if possible. I will report back. Thanks for the advice about the o-rings. I hope my mechanic already knows this. If not, I've got the wrong mechanic!
