can anyone give me a wiring diagram or basic install instrutions on a 2000 model s2000 thanks...also some ideas on where to install the unit would be helpful

If it's VAFC II install instructions you're looking for, go to APEXi's web site and douwnload them. They're about 60 something one sided pages.
